We research and develop foundational systems software to tackle real-world challenges, building functional prototypes and rigorously testing our solutions in real-world environments and on real computing hardware with realistic workloads. We are a strong believer in reproducibility with a track record of engaging with the artefact evaluation process of major systems conferences. Our group has strong links with our wide network of academic collaborators and industrial partners.

Our recent efforts cut across multiple systems stack, ranging from runtime optimisation, compilation, high-level parallel programming models, kernel library implementations, and distributed communication systems. We often use machine learning as a design methodolgy to automate system design.
